Idenze, also known as Nze, is a blogger, entrepreneur, and history and culture enthusiast who is very passionate about exploring people’s rich cultural heritage, traditions, and historical narratives. My work primarily focuses on pre-colonial Igbo societies, traditional belief systems, leadership structures, and the impact of European colonialism. I hail from Akuzo village in Nkpor, in Idemili North, Anambra State, Nigeria.
I completed my primary education at Central School Nkpor and my secondary education at Government Technical College (GTC) Nkpor. Afterward, I studied at the State University of Telecommunications in Kyiv, Ukraine, and later enrolled at HAS University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands to study “International Food & Agribusiness,” although I did not complete the programme.
Outside my works on history and cultures, I was also one of the Nigerian students who fled Ukraine during the 2022 invasion. While escaping, I faced racial discrimination at the hands of Ukrainian officials, which I documented to highlight the unequal treatment of Africans in conflict zones and advocate for equality.
